Beauty

This note is about the concept of beauty, also related to Subjectivity and Aesthetics. An argument is that beauty is a quirk of sexual selection. My understanding is broader: the aesthetic sense is a form of information compression for action-oriented appraisal of the environment, cf. sensory ecology and biosemiotics.
