Directions

Minor Intelligences

Should it be minor or small intelligences or plural, modular, complementary, negotiatory, freely probing intelligences?

"What possibilities will open when we finally choose to refuse the credo of human supremacy? Another way of life will emerge into view when we embrace another worldview to live by. Namely: that Earth is a community of unique and exquisite beings, places and cultures; that the planet inhabited with restraint and respect is abundant for our material sustenance and ravishing for our spirit; and that the more-than-human world, from singing whales to networking fungi, abounds in diverse forms of intelligence, awareness and mind."

Cooperative Intelligence

Tolerance to others across groups, species, types of beings can and has evolutionarily led to cooperation and success in survival, influence, control. Going into the future, what patterns of cooperative intelligence can occur between humans and non-humans, biological and artificial intelligences at planetary scales, with which tooling?

Gaps

Multispecies living is missing from considerations of human-centred AI.
